The short version: we only collect what you send us through the contact form, we use it to reply to you, and this site runs no tracking.

A LINE STAGE is a web design and development studio in Los Angeles, powered by A LINE. This notice explains what personal information we collect on alinestage.com, how we use it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, write to hello@alinestage.com.
The contact form. When you send us an enquiry we receive your name, your email address, your website if you add it, the service and budget range you pick, and your message.
Sent along with the form. To tell real enquiries from spam, the form also sends us the page you were on, your approximate country (worked out by Cloudflare from your IP address), the type of browser and operating system you use, and how long the page had been open before you pressed send. We do not receive your IP address itself.
Technical logs. Like every website, our hosting provider Cloudflare records basic request data such as IP address, requested URL and time, to run the site and protect it from abuse. Our own code logs only an enquiry reference number and whether the email went out, never the content of your message. Logs are kept for a short period and then deleted.
Email. If you write to hello@alinestage.com directly, we receive your message and your address, as with any email.
We do not send marketing emails unless you ask for them, and we never sell your information.
Your enquiry is delivered as an email, through Cloudflare's email service, to the mailboxes of the A LINE STAGE team members who handle new projects. The service providers involved are Cloudflare (hosting, security and email delivery) and Google (our mailboxes). They process this data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We do not share your information with anyone else unless the law requires it.
None. This site uses no analytics, no advertising or social-media pixels, and no tracking cookies. The page keeps one small flag in your browser's session storage so that the page-transition animation plays smoothly; it holds no personal data and is cleared when you close the tab. Fonts are served from our own domain, so your visit is not reported to Google Fonts or any other font provider.
We keep enquiry emails for as long as we are in conversation or working together, and afterwards as part of our business records. You can ask us to delete them at any time (see below).
Email hello@alinestage.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. We answer promptly, and within 30 days at most.
California residents. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA/CPRA. You have the right to know what we collect, to correct it and to delete it, and we will not treat you differently for exercising those rights.
Visitors from the EU or UK. We process your enquiry because it is in our legitimate interest to answer you, or to take the steps you asked for before entering into a contract. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
This site is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.
